I do feel the need to write about Emergency Preparedness.

Living in Florida for over 30 years with hurricanes, having a son in California with fires and earthquakes, and another son in North Carolina during that flood fiasco in the Asheville area has been a rude awakening for me when it comes to Emergency Preparedness.

The long lines for “anything”, the total lack of preparedness shown by neighbors, and the news clips that follow their plight.

In my opinion, there’s no excuse for that!

It’s never too late to begin (or early) to get yourself up to speed.

Spend some time on this site to help in your survival preparations.

This is not a lock-and-load type of site with endless rounds of ammunition squirreled away in an underground bunker.

Between you and me, that doesn’t and will not work. (Those guys at the Alamo didn’t run out of bullets.)

This site is here to help you with what you can control. Your proper preparedness from Mother Nature and some man-made calamities.

Put away the ammunition; shooting at a hurricane, power outage, or wildfire isn’t going to change things for you (you may wind up hurting yourself!).

Let’s get prepping.
